Heritage Park of Katy is an employee-based Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility that truly cares and values our employees. We provide our team with resources, skills, and opportunities to help each other for the better outcome of our lovely residents.
We are seeking a dedicated Treatment Nurse to join our team.
As a Treatment Nurse you will also play an important role in helping our residents continue to live a meaningful and purpose life, by providing services to residents at the facility. We are trying to ensure that residents maintain a safe and comfortable home-like atmosphere.
Duties:
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans according to wound care treatment
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records according to doctors' orders
- Provide patient education on health conditions and treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Experience:
- Must have a Nurse License in good standing with the State of Texas
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and wound care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed medical records
